Dynamics of EB1-GFP in U2OS cells

Poster Image

Time-lapse imaging of EB1 in stable line of human osteosarcoma cells U2OS expressing EB1-GFP. Images were taken every 4 s for 3 min in TIRFM. Movie by S. Vinopal

Dynamics of EB1-GFP in thapsigargin activated mast cells

Poster Image

Time-lapse imaging of EB1-GFP in thapsigargin activated mouse bone marrow-derived mast cells (BMMCs). BMMCs were imaged, with 0.5s exposure time and 1 s interval between frames, for 3 min in TIRFM. Imaging started 13 min after addition of thapsigargin. For details see Hájková et al., J. Immunol. 186: 913-923, 2011.

Microtubules are not essential for STIM1 puncta formation in activated mast cells

Poster Image

Time-lapse imaging of mouse bone marrow-derived mast cells (BMMCs) expressing YFP-tagged STIM1  and mRFP1-tagged EB3. Microtubules were disrupted by nocodazole and BMMCs were thereafter activated by thapsigargin. BMMCs were imaged, with exposure time ranging from 0.5-0.8s and 2 s interval between frames, for 3 min in TIRFM. For details see Hájková et al., J. Immunol. 186: 913-923, 2011.

Depletion of spastin inhibits cell motility in glioblastoma cells

Poster Image

Human glioblastoma cells T98G were incubated with Hoechst 33342 and imaged on the Olympus IX-81 microscope equiped with Cell^R system for time-lapse experiments. Images were taken in bright-field channel to visualize whole cells and in fluorescence channel to visualize nuclei. The total time of the time-lapse was 10 h with 10 min intervals. For details see Dráberová et al., J. Neuropathol. Exp. Neurol. 70: 811-826, 2011.
